I boarded my cat, Joni for 10 days at Purrvana and it was my first time doing so… ever! My experience with Purrvana was absolutely exceptional. Everyone was truly kind and professional. They really care for your cat, it is not just doing the bare minimum- they go above and beyond. Joni had such a blast there that I think she was a little sad to come home. This place is like a vacation for your cat while you go on vacation. My cat loves attention and they gave her so much love every day. I even saw on camera that the techs spend one on one time with the cats and that’s so thoughtful. They also send you updates every single day. They are also very organized. Joni needed eye drops daily and they kindly did it for her. I am so happy I found this place. I feel like I can go out of town knowing that my cat is taken care of so so well. I am so grateful that a wonderful place like Purvanna exists. I have never boarded my cat and I was extremely nervous to do so, but I was having construction done in my home and it wasn’t safe to keep her there, and I was worried if I brought her to a hotel she’d get out. Thank goodness I found Purvanna! The staff are incredible, they are true cat people and were so kind and communicative throughout the whole process. You can tell just by the intake questions they ask that they are experts, and I knew my baby would be in good hands. I brought lots of familiar items and they let me set up her (spacious) suite to get her settled, and they provided daily updates as well. The facilities are spotless, I have no idea how they do it. I loved having access to the camera so I could check on her any time! And I was very pleasantly surprised by how much time my kitty got to explore outside of her suite (most of the day after she got settled). I can’t recommend Purvanna enough, if you are considering boarding your cat look no further.

I boarded my cat at Purrvana for the first time, as a test, to see how he would do when I travel. This is an amazing facility and they went “above and beyond” to provide the best care for my cat. They were so patient with me and my nervousness in giving over my cat’s care to someone else. Matt and Keith, the owners, spent a lot of time speaking with me on the phone and in person to ensure that I was at ease about everything. Purrvana pays attention to all details and they take the time to understand the cat and his/her individual needs. The cleanliness of the establishment is exemplary and this is something that I was very concerned about. Patty, the manager, is always available to answer questions and provide any assistance. Laurie spent a lot of time in my cat’s suite to help him relax. The suites for each cat are very spacious. The staff is truly professional and it is so obvious that they are exceptionally well-trained and that everyone there absolutely loves cats. The 24/7 camera totally diminished any worries I had. I was able to watch my cat at any time and being able to see him and how he was adjusting was the “best.” They sent me daily updates with photos and promptly answered any questions. The rates are totally reasonable and I am so happy to have found Purrvana. I have already reserved another date.

During the recent fires, they went above and beyond to ensure Kingsley’s safety, which we’re so grateful for. Purrvana has earned our trust, and it will absolutely be our go-to pet hotel!

Purrvana sets the standard for cat boarding in LA. My cats have boarded before at a handful of places in the LA area, but the service provided at Purrvana was exceptional. They are very thoughtful about every step of the process from drop off to pick up, and at the end of my cats' stay, it didn't seem like they wanted to leave! Purrvana provides a 24/7 live feed of the cats' suite (perfect for helicopter cat parents), and the camera can be moved and adjusted so you can see the entire suite (and maybe even catch a glimpse of your cats when they are roaming around during group play). They send a detailed daily update along with photos and you can see that the cats are well taken care of. They are "cat people" who understand cats and cat people, and really cater to your cats' individual personalities. One of my cats is more shy than the other and doesn't play as nicely with other cats, but they showered him with human affection and let his sister do most of the socializing with the other felines. They go at each individual cats' pace and really take care to learn their personalities, even before the boarding starts (as a part of the process you fill out a survey about your cats' habits and personalities). I hate leaving my cats when I travel but I feel reassured that a wonderful place like Purrvana exists where they can have fun and be taken care of as well as (if not better than) I can take care of them myself. January 10, 2025 EDIT: We recently boarded Skye and Kona again at Purrvana while we were abroad for the holidays. Just a day after we returned and picked them up from Purrvana, we lost our home to the Palisades Fire. When evacuating we were afraid of where we could take our beloved cats and Purrvana immediately came to mind. Matt and Keith picked up the phone and agreed to take Skye and Kona in immediately while we searched for housing that would accommodate cats. Knowing that they were safe and well taken care of by Patti (who was exceptionally kind to us) and the entire Purrvana team meant the world to us during our time of need. This is a business that leads with their hearts first, and we are so deeply grateful for the kindness, empathy and sense of peace they extended to us during this tragedy.

I cannot recommend Purrvana enough. This was my first time leaving my cat and I am so glad that I decided to have him stay at Purrvana. The co- founders Matt and Keith, along with the entire staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. With this being his first time boarding, I was very nervous but they made it a comfortable transition for my cat being away from home. They send daily updates and I was able to see my cat anytime via a pet cam in his room. I love that they provided playtime and personalized attention to every cat. I will definitely be using Purrvana again whenever I am out of town.

Incredible experience all around that exceeded expectations. The staff took the time for a drop-off transition to get to know the cats and all their quirks and let them get used to the space, covering questions that even I wouldn't have thought of in every detail. They sent me daily pictures and updates which, which they offered to tailor however many times a day as I wanted. I was terrified to board for the first time but this facility gave me the assurance to enjoy my business trip without anxiety and I plan to absolutely use them again when I have to travel. This is the first time boarding our cat. We were concerned about leaving her at a cat hotel. But we could not be more satisfied with Purrvana (100%) Their staff are well trained and attentive. The hotel is very clean and spacey , which was different than other cat hotels we looked at. We enjoyed watching her in her room through a 24/7 camera from an app on our phone while we were out of town. We highly recommend this hotel!! This is a 5 star cat hotel. Suite room rate is very reasonable and it’s definitely worth the price. The owners of the hotel are Keith and Matt, who were very nice and took time to answer our questions. I took my 14 year old cat, BK to Purrvana for a 4 night stay (which turned into a 5 night stay) and I couldn't be more happier with the experience. The staff was so friendly and really took the time to know my cat! I could tell BK was taken well care of and I was happy to get photo and text updates daily. I will definitely be bringing BK back to visit his new friends and I highly recommend this boarding facility for your cats!

My cat Pounce had a wonderful time at Purrvana! She is four years old and has never been away from her home and family before now. She stayed at Purrvana one week. Every evening, the lovely people at Purrvana texted me a summary of her day and sent photos of Pounce at her daily activities—clearly having a good time staring out a window that overlooks a bird feeder (don’t worry—the birds couldn’t see her), playing with toys like a feather on a string or “mouse” on the floor, being petted and stroked by the staff or simply lounging about. When I came to pick her up, she had free range of a large room and came to me when called. She was obviously happy, well fed and not stressed. What a relief to pick up a contented cat! Man, what can I say about the Purrvana experience?! We were going out of town, it was a holiday weekend, and our usual spot was all booked up. A cursory internet search led me to Purrvana, and I had a buzzy good feeling right away. Even more so when I talked to Keith on the phone and he asked all sorts of questions that made me think our two kitties were going to have a great little vacation in the care of some serious cat lovers. The space is beautiful, our felines’ suite was lovely and spacious, and set up with a live video feed, allowing us to check in on them whenever we wanted. By the end of the week they didn’t want to come home. We’ll use them again and again. Long live Purrvana!

I boarded my 4yo cat for 3 nights at Purrvana and know that I will be back time and again! They do an exceptional job getting to know you as the owner and your cat. It's hard to leave our cat behind with so many unknowns to consider, especially when it comes to boarding. Our fur baby is quiet, shy, and very sweet. The Purrvana team did an amazing job as he adjusted to his new environment and made sure that he was always taken care of. Leaving our cat behind with them is comforting as we know that he will be in good hands. Thanks to all the amazing staff that played a part in his stay! :)

This wonderful group of people took very loving care of our two kitties for two weeks. They have a great setup for the cats and made it so easy on us to see them doing well from the other side of the world with cameras. The daily photos and updates were great! My 11-year-old cat Pip stayed at Purrvana for three weeks after I had two trips converge and needed to be out of town on fairly short notice. They took amazing care of him, taking plenty of time to ask me all the right questions when I dropped him off and checking in with me every day about how he was doing. Pip is very attached to me since I work from home and he therefore can get very stressed when I need to go out of town, but the staff at Purrvana spent loads of time with him every day and made sure he got all the attention he needed. I was able to travel worry-free, knowing he was safe and happy. Thank you!

I absolutely love Purrvana! They do such an amazing job with our 8 month kittens. They love going and hanging out with the other cats. I highly recommend checking this place out If you need someone to watch your furry ones. It’s the best cat hotel on the market! My favorite thing about Purrvana is that you get to watch your little ones play via video cam and the team is incredible!

We put our cat Rosie up at Purrvana for a week while we went to Japan and had the BEST experience with them. Our cat can be a little spicy, so we’re always worried about boarding her, but they have private suites that are top notch. Or, if you have a more social kitty, they have an awesome space for them to explore and interact with cats and caretakers. While it’s always hard to leave one’s cat with new people, we were so impressed by the whole Purrvana team. They are truly “cat people” and I felt so comfortable with the whole experience. They even have a webcam app where we could watch Rosie from afar! Honestly, that’s better than we have at my 2 year old son’s daycare! Purrvana truly felt like a luxury cat hotel, and we’ll absolutely be using them again soon.

If you ever need a nice place for your cat to stay while you're on vacation, look no further because Purrvana is the BEST. Initially, I was hesitant about bringing Nami to a cat hotel since she doesn't usually get along well with strangers. However, the staff members were so friendly and talked us through the whole process. I was amazed at how thorough and organized they were. I had my cat stay at Purrvana for a 2 day trial period to see if she'd be okay to stay here when I go on vacation. She was so restless and stressed during the first day, constantly meowing and growling towards staff. Nevertheless, they were so patient and persistent with trying to get her to relax and play by giving her treats and playing with her favorite toys. They even allow cats time to roam freely, and intermingle with other cats if they meet the health requirements. So Nami was able to interact with a cat strolling by her suite. To my surprise, she became more comfortable and playful on the second day and even started rubbing against the staff. They did an amazing job giving me updates and photos throughout the day to show me how Nami was doing. They even have a camera in the suites so you can check in on your cat too! Nami had an amazing time, and I cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of my baby. We will definitely be coming back here soon!

Absolutely happy with the care and attention that was given to my cat. The condo suites are large and adequately equipped with what the cats need. Plenty of fun space for the cats to play and interact with each other. I was sent daily photos and videos of my cat having a blast. Will definitely leave my cat in their care next time I have to travel. Thank you to all the staff!!

Purrvana has been a godsend for Lily and for our family! The facility is immaculate and spacious giving our baby a sense of freedom, comfort and security. Most importantly the level of care and individual attention she receives sets Purrvana a world apart from other kennels. The live cameras, photos and daily updates allows us to enjoy our trips kn owing Lily is happy and loved! A final note: when it was time to go home Lily ran back into her condo... that says it all!!!

I had a lot of anxiety prior to boarding my cat, but my experience with Purrvana was absolutely exceptional. I just picked up my cat yesterday from Purrvana and I cannot express how relieved and happy I was to find a trustworthy (and very clean!) cat boarding facility. Every step of the way I felt comfortable and at ease. The owners, Matt and Keith, were super communicative and took such great care of my baby. Purrvana really cares about the health and safety of all the kitty guests, making sure that they are up to date on their vaccinations and doing a proper flea check and introductory meeting with each cat upon arrival. If your cat has negative FIV and FeLV test results within the last year they can interact with the others. Unfortunately, mine wasn’t up to date on the test for this trip, but was still able to interact with the other cats through the glass doors and loved it! Will have him all ready for group play next time 😊 Each cat suite has a live video streaming capability so you can watch your baby at all times when they are in the suite, which really made me feel at ease. I was able to bring in his donut bed and blankie, and a few toys to help him feel a sense of home. The Purrvana team was amazing with communication, sending photos and status updates throughout the day. It was so nice seeing my boy interacting with others through the glass, playing with feather toys, napping in the cabanas, and chatting with the birds on the window perch. Overall, I am incredibly happy with my Purrvana experience, and definitely recommend if you are in search of a luxury cat boarding facility that goes the extra mile to provide an outstanding stay for your cat while you're away.

I boarded my 2yo cat Burney here over President's Day weekend for 3 nights, and I already know I'll be back again! Matt and Keith were wonderful to work with, super flexible and very accommodating of slightly more complicated instructions for my cat. My pickup and dropoff time ended up being changed last minute due to me running late and I never felt as though I had inconvenienced them or that my message to them was anything more than a simple update, which in turn made me feel more comfortable and confident in my cat's safety at their facilities. Burney had a blast! I had the ability to see him any time I wanted in his spacious suite with his toys from home using an app on my phone. When I wasn't able to check in on him for a long period of time, Matt and Keith were very accommodating and texted updates to one of my relatives as well as to me. In addition, the app allowed me to view recorded clips of how my cat was doing during the times I couldn't actively check in on him. Burney is very active and needs at least 1 hour of playtime a day along with attention and pets, and it seemed clear to me that he received that and more. He also was so content (not stressed at all) and didn't seem upset at all when I came back to pick him up-- in fact, he seemed like he didn't want to leave! I had a great experience with Purrvana and definitely am planning on boarding Burney here again in the future :)

It’s always a little nerve racking trusting your fur baby with a new boarding facility but I have to say I am so glad I did! The level of attention my cat received was extraordinary. Not only was I able to watch her on the 24/7 motion activated cameras, I also received abundant updates, observations and extra cute photos. For the first time ever at any facility she was comfortable enough to explore outside of her “suite” which was a sign to me she trusted her care takers. The owners are sincere in their passion for our felines and it shows.

My partner and I left our beautiful 11-year-old cat, Spud, here for Christmas so we could visit our family out of state. While we were gone, Spud had an emergency blockage and wasn’t eating, couldn’t go to the bathroom on his own and started spitting up blood. This is obviously a pretty dire situation for a pet and pet parents, and we were unable to do too much as we were in New Mexico when we found out. Keith and Matt immediately had a vet assess him in-house as to not stress Spud out and see if anything could be managed without an emergency hospital (it was pretty early in the day), but concluded he needed a 24/7 hospital. They swiftly took him to a hospital nearby and got the blockage taken care of while keeping us posted every hour. We were driving back to CA in what could have been a tragic situation if not for Matt and Keith. To Matt and Keith, thank you so much for your graciousness — we will never be able to repay your kindness to Spud and our family. To anyone considering Purrvana, this is it. Your pets are more than safe and happy here (in his brief time here, Spud even made a few friends!). Happy Christmas guys!
