What are your hours of operation?

We're staffed from 7am to 9pm on weekdays and 7am to 8pm on weekends. To maintain a secure facility, we do not offer walk-ins or in-person tours. Purrvana is by appointment only and all drop-offs and pick-ups must be scheduled in advance.

How do I book a reservation?

Do you have a minimum stay requirement?

Currently our minimum stay is 3 nights.

Do you supply food, or do we bring our own?

You, the owner, will provide the food that your cat will eat for the duration of their stay, along with detailed instructions. We want to avoid stress and unnecessary GI distress, so it's essential that your cat eats at Purrvana exactly as they eat at home.

How many total cats does Purrvana accommodate?

We currently have 24 suites available for reservation and can accommodate up to 30 total cats.

I have multiple cats. Can they all share a suite?

We can accommodate a maximum of 2 cats per suite, with a reduced rate for the second cat. Please call us to discuss if sharing a suite is a safe and viable option for your cats!

Can I stop by for a tour of your location?

As part of our commitment to maintain a secure and low-stress environment for the cats, we do not offer in-person tours. We do, however, give live video tours by FaceTime or Zoom! Contact us to schedule!

What kind of litter do you use?

We'll use whatever litter you use at home! We'll make a note of it during our reservation call and make sure we have it in stock in time for your arrival.

How am I able to view the live camera feed of my cat's suite?

You will need to download a dedicated app in order to view and control the camera in your suite. It only takes minutes to set up and is full of great features, such as intelligently tracking and recording all of your cat's movements for you to view at any time.

How does the cat door work?

Every suite at Purrvana has a microchip-activated cat door. If you would like your cat to freely enter and exit their assigned suite during supervised daytime hours, we will program your cat's door to recognize their chip, only allowing them to enter and exit their door while keeping all other cats out. Their microchip becomes their room key!

How are the suites ventilated?

Every suite has a dedicated, smart ventilation system with its own temperature and humidity sensor. We can program each suite to maintain a certain temperature, and you will be able to view the current temperature through the live camera feed.

Which vaccines do you require?

We require current FVRCP vaccination and current Rabies vaccination.

Do you have any age, breed or other general restrictions?

Yes, only spayed or neutured cats at least 6 months of age may stay at Purrvana. Additionally, we have a full health and safety protocol– developed in coordination with a local veterinarian– to ensure that Purrvana is the safest cat facility possible. This means additional requirements and restrictions that may disqualify some cats, which we will discuss during our reservation screening call. We cannot accommodate servals or F1/F2 savannahs.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 7+ days prior to the scheduled drop off: full refund.

Cancellations made between 1 and 7 days prior: your choice of (a) a full credit toward your next stay, or (b) a refund minus a one-night cancellation fee.

Cancellations less than 24 hours prior: a refund minus a two-night cancellation fee.

Do you offer pick-up or drop-off services?

We do not offer pick-up services, because we believe it's essential for the owner to help their cat settle in. We strongly urge owners to spend at least 30 minutes here during your check-in appointment. Drop-off services at the end of the stay may be available for an additional charge, depending on day, time and location.

Do you offer grooming?

Nope, we are a one-service shop– boarding only! Our goal is to provide the most stress-free environment possible.
